DEL TORO]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a Resolution opposing\nefforts by the Trump administration to cut HIV prevention and treatment\nprograms worldwide.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 25-_______: “A\nRESOLUTION OPPOSING CUTS TO HIV PREVENTION AND\nTREATMENT PROGRAMS WORLDWIDE”; and 2) Direct staff to send a\nletter to President Donald Trump and copies of the letter to Health &\nHuman Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Secretary of State\nMarco Rubio, U.S. Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff, U.S.\nRepresentative Laura Friedman, and others as deemed appropriate.
