LEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE: ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ESTABLISHING PROTOCOLS AND\nPROCEDURES TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS TO THE PASADENA\nRENTAL HOUSING BOARD (PRHB) FOR SCHEDULED AND UNSCHEDULED VACANCIES AFFECTING TENANT MEMBER, AT LARGE\nMEMBER, ALTERNATE TENANT MEMBER, AND ALTERNATE AT LARGE\nMEMBER POSITIONS (Office of the City Clerk)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action contained in the agenda report is exempt from review pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act\n(“CEQA”) in accordance with State CEQA Guidelines § 15061(b)(3), the “common\nsense” provision that CEQA only applies to projects that may have a significant effect on the environment; and\n(2) Adopt a resolution approving and formalizing the process to make appointments to the PRHB for scheduled and unscheduled vacancies\naffecting Tenant Member, At Large Member, Alternate Tenant Member, and Alternate\nAt Large Member positions on the Board.\nSTAFF REPORT\nATTACHMENT A\nRESOLUTION
