County of Los Angeles, et al., United States\nDistrict Court Case No. 2:19-cv-03279, in the amount of $3,000,000; and\ninstruct the Auditor-Controller to draw a warrant to implement this settlement\nfrom the Sheriff's Department's budget.\nThis Federal civil rights lawsuit arises from the death of the Plaintiff's son after\nSheriff's Department deputies attempted to take the decedent into custody.\n(25-1754)
