11.5 Consideration of a Lease Agreement between the City of Bell\nGardens and the Human Services Association for space in the\nResource Center at 6423 Florence Place\nRECOMMENDATION: It is the staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt a resolution approving a Lease agreement between the\nCity of Bell Gardens and the Human Services Association to continue\nleasing space at 6423 Florence Place.\nCONCLUSION: Having a local office that provides social services and\nsupport to families to promote wellness and building of strong\ncommunities offers several benefits, including access to resources,\nconnective support for early childhood development, family and\nsenior needs, and community and civic engagement, among others. It\nis recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Resolution\napproving a Lease Agreement between the City of Bell Gardens and\nHSA, to provide space for the administration of public services that\nenhance the quality of life for residents.\nFISCAL IMPACT: None.
