Consideration to review assessment rate options for the Citywide Landscaping\nand Lightning Maintenance District (LLMD) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26.\n(Hevener) (15 mins)\n1) Receive and file a report on the Citywide Landscaping and Lighting\nMaintenance (LLMD);\n2) Direct Staff to initiate proceedings to set the FY 2025-26 LLMD levy at a\nrate of either:\na. $0 per parcel for single family residences;\nb. Up to $23.50 per parcel for single family residences, which was the\nrate at the time that Proposition 218 came into effect on July 1, 1997;\nor\nc. Greater than $23.50 per parcel for single family residences, which\nwould require voter approval pursuant to Proposition 218; and\n3) Based on the above, direct Staff to prepare an Engineer’s Report for the\nLLMD for FY 2025-26 and return at a future date with the appropriate\nresolutions memorializing the Council’s directive for future consideration\nat a duly noticed public hearing.\nAgenda Report
