D. Consideration to file a Notice of Completion for the Point Vincente Interpretive\nCenter Drainage Remediation project (CIP 8509). (Sunwoo)\nRecommendation: 1) Accept the Point Vicente Interpretive Center Drainage\nRemediation project (CIP 8509) as complete; 2) Authorize the City Clerk to file\na Notice of Completion for the project with the Los Angeles County Registrar-\nRecorder’s Office; and if no claims are filed within 35 days after recordation,\nsend a notice to the surety company to exonerate the Performance Bond; and,\n3) Authorize the Director of Public Works to release the 5% construction\nretention payment to Estate Design & Construction, 35 days after recordation\nof the Notice of Completion by the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s\nOffice, contingent upon no claims being filed on the project, and the contractor\nposting an acceptable warrant bond with the City.\nAgenda Report
