3-O. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 2466-AA WITH NICHOLS CONSULTING\nENGINEERS, CHTD. DBA NCE FOR SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT SERVICES AND AWARD\nOF CONTRACT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA PRECISION CONCRETE, INC. DBA\nPRECISION CONCRETE CUTTING FOR PROFESSIONAL CONCRETE CUTTING\nSERVICES\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an Amendment to Agreement No. 2466-AA with\nNichols Consulting Engineers, CHTD. dba NCE, in a form approved by the City Attorney,\nfor sidewalk assessment services for $53,900;\n(2) Authorizing the City Manager to execute an Agreement with Southern California Precision\nConcrete, Inc. dba Precision Concrete Cutting, in a form approved by the City Attorney,\nfor professional concrete cutting services for a term of one year with the option to renew\nfor two additional years with an annual amount not to exceed $150,000; and\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nThe City reviewed the environmental impacts of the proposed Ordinance pursuant to the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (Public Resources Code §§ 21000, et seq. “CEQA”) and\nthe regulations promulgated thereunder (14 Cal. Code of Regs. §§ 15000, et seq., the “CEQA\nGuidelines”). The proposed action contemplates entering into agreements for assessment of\nthe public right of way, and minor alterations to existing improvements. Accordingly, this activity\nis exempt from further review.
