11. Undergrounding Program Update, Utility Undergrounding District 1A\n(Stratford Court South) San Diego Gas & Electric Cost Agreement, Approval\nof Task Order Amendment with Utility Specialists Southwest, Inc. for Utility\nUndergrounding District X1A (Crest Canyon), and First Amendment to the\nAgreement with Utility Specialists Southwest, Inc.\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council:\n1) Receive an Undergrounding Program update from City staff with construction\nupdates for Utility Undergrounding District (UUD) 1A (Stratford Court South); 2)\nApprove the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) Cost Agreement for UUD 1A\n(Stratford Court South) with a cost of $1,592,881 (Attachment A); 3) Approve\na Task Order Amendment (Attachment B) with Utility Specialists Southwest, Inc.\nfor UUD X1A pre-construction services; 4) Approve the First Amendment to the\nAgreement with Utility Specialists Southwest, Inc. for as-needed specialized\nelectrical engineering services (Attachment C); 5) Authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the SDG&E Cost Agreement, and Utility Specialists Task Order and\nAgreement amendments; and 6) Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Operating\nand Capital Budget as described in the Fiscal Impact section below.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 1001-2
