4. Lowell Brandt Park Playground - The playground replacement at Lowell Brandt Park was originally\napproved as part of the Capital Improvement Program for fiscal year 2019-2020 using Park\nDevelopment Funds. This playground no longer meets safety standards and needs to be removed\nimmediately and replaced, and an additional appropriation from the Capital Improvement Fund\nReserve of $171,700 is requested.\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Award a contract to Miracle Recreation Equipment Co. in an amount of $246,700 for the\nremoval, site preparation, and installation of playground equipment at Lowell Brandt Park;\nand\n2. Appropriate $171,700 from the Capital Improvement Fund Reserve.
