2.N. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF LAVO VOLLEYBALL\nTOURNAMENT [J. ERICKSON, Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO, J. DEL TORO, M. MÁRQUEZ]:\nThe City Council will consider a request to Co-\nSponsor the Los Angeles Volleyball Organization’s\n(LAVO) Volleyball Tournament in West Hollywood\nPark’s Aquatic and Recreation Building on April 1 and\n2, 2023.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: RECOMMENDATIONS: 1)\nApprove a Co-sponsorship of LAVO's Volleyball\nTournament to be held at West Hollywood Park on\nSaturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, 2023; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager or his designee to\nexecute documents incident to the Co-Sponsorship\nagreement between the City and LAVO; 3) Approve\nwaiving the Facility Use Fee for the West Hollywood\nPark Aquatic and Recreation Building or any other\nPermit Fees required for the successful execution of\nthe event. (Estimated $640 in waived fees); 4)\nApprove the waiver of parking fees at the 5-story\nparking lot for tournament participants of the event\non both days (estimated $600 in waived fees); 5)\nAuthorize the use of the City name and logo on\ninvitations, programs, and other collateral materials\nfor the event; and 6) Direct the Communications\nDepartment to utilize all appropriate communication\ntools to promote the LAVO Volleyball Tournament,\nincluding, but not limited to, the City's website and\nsocial media tools.\nSTAFF REPORT
