4.A. UPDATE ON UTILIZATION OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD EMERGENCY FUNDS IN\nRESPONSE TO COVID-19 [C. SCHROEDER, L.\nISENBERG, D. MURRAY, J. HOLUB, Y. SPITERI, D.\nWILSON, C. SAFRIET, P. KESPRADIT]:\nThe City Council will receive an update on the\nutilization of emergency funds in response to COVID-\n19 and will consider an allocation of additional funds\nfor the Eviction Prevention and Defense program.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Receive an update on the\nutilization of emergency funds in response to COVID\n19; 2) Approve a new agreement for services with\nBet Tzedek Legal Services for a total not-to-exceed\namount of $321,203 to provide intervention and legal\nrepresentation for West Hollywood tenants through\nJune 30, 2024, and authorize the City Manager or\ndesignee to execute all documents incident to the\nagreement; and 3) Approve Amendment No. 2 to the\nagreement for services with The Coalition for\nEconomic Survival to increase the amount by\n$15,000 for a total not-to-exceed amount of $135,000\nto provide legal services education and outreach\nthrough June 30, 2023 and authorize the City\nManager or designee to execute all documents\nincident to the agreement.\nSTAFF REPORT\nITEM 4.A. - ATTACHMENT A\nITEM 4.A. - ATTACHMENT B
