2.L. CO-SPONSORSHIP OF BOYS DON’T WEAR\nDRESSES FILM SCREENING [Y. QUARKER, A.\nLOVANO, L. FOOKS]:\nThe West Hollywood City Council will consider a\nrequest to co-sponsor a community screening of the\naward-winning short film "Boys Don’t Wear dresses\n"as part of the City’s recognition of Autism\nAcceptance Month.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve the Co-\nsponsorship of Spectrum Laboratory's community\nscreening of "Boys" Don't Wear Dresses" on\nSaturday, April 15, 2023 in Fiesta Hall; 2) Waive any\nFacility Use Fees and any other City fees that may be\nincurred (estimated $300); 3) Authorize the City\nManager or his designee to execute documents\nincident to the Co-Sponsorship agreement between\nthe City and Spec Labs, Inc.; 4) Authorize the use of\nthe City name and logo on collateral materials; 5)\nDirect the Communications Department to utilize all\nappropriate communication tools to promote the\nevent, including, but not limited to, the City's website\nand social media channels; and 6) Authorize the City\nManager or his designee to execute documents\nincident to the Co-Sponsorship agreement between\nthe City and Spec Labs, Inc.\nSTAFF REPORT
