11.12 Consideration of a Resolution Approving an Amendment to\nthe Master Service Agreement with NextRequest, a Subsidary\nof CivicPlus, for a Public Records Request Management\nSystem\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff's recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt the attached Resolution authorizing the City Manager\nto execute an Amendment to the Master Service Agreement with\nNextRequest, a subsidary of CivicPlus, for the software product to\nmanage requests for public records for four (4) years, for a cumulative\nnot to exceed total of $45,000, subject to approval by the City\nAttorney, as to form.\nCONCLUSION: An Amendment to the existing Master Service\nAgreement extending the term and compensation will allow public\nrecords requests to continue to be managed with accountability and\ntransparency.\nFISCAL IMPACT: Funds for these services are included in the City\nClerk’s Year 2024-2025 adopted budget, and as a regular operating\nexpenditure, will be budgeted in future fiscal year budgets when\npresented to the Council.\nATTACHMENT:\nExhibit 1 - Resolution No. 2025-40
