5. Consideration to receive a status report on wireless telecommunications\ncoverage throughout the City. (Mesker/Seeraty) (15 mins)\nRecommendation: 1) Receive and file a status report on wireless\ntelecommunications coverage on private property and in the public right-of-\nway throughout the City; 2) Receive and file a status report on the City\nCouncil’s request for the carriers to provide a Master Plan Coverage Map;\nand, 3) Direct Staff to continue their efforts with the various carriers and the\ntelecommunication’s lobbying firm, Cellular Telecommunications Industry\nAssociation (CTIA), to investigate potential amendments to Chapters 12.18\nwireless facilities on public rights-of-way) and 17.76 (wireless facilities on\nprivate property) of the Rancho Palos Verdes Municipal Code (RPVMC) that\nwould incentivize carriers to improve wireless telecommunications coverage\nthroughout the City.\nAgenda Report
