32. Transportation Services Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Children and Family Services to\nexecute an amendment to a contract with HopSkipDrive, Inc. for the provision of\ntransportation services, to increase the maximum annual contract amount by\n$6,000,000 for a new maximum annual contract amount of $10,000,000,\nfinanced using 43% State Realignment funds, 43% from the participating school\ndistricts, and 14% in Flexible Family Supports funds, with sufficient funding\nincluded in the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Adopted Budget; and authorize the Director\nto take the following actions: (Department of Children and Family Services)\nAPPROVE\nExecute amendments to increase or decrease the maximum annual\ncontract amount up to 10%, if such an amendment is necessary to meet\na change in service demands and the necessary funding is available in\nthe budget;\nExecute amendments to the contract to make changes to the scope of\nwork or the terms and conditions to meet program needs;\nExercise the two one-year extension options by written notice or\namendment, provided that sufficient funding is available; and\nExtend the contract by written notice or amendment for a period not to\nexceed six months beyond June 30, 2027, if such additional time is\nnecessary to complete the negotiation or solicitation of a new contract,\nprovided that the Cost of Living Adjustment is not included, and sufficient\nfunding is available for the extension.
