26. Parking Facility Management Services Contract\nRecommendation: Find that parking facility management services can be\nperformed more economically by an independent contractor; approve and\ninstruct the Chair to sign a contract with Parking Company of America to\nprovide parking facility management services at 26 County-owned and/or\nCounty-operated parking facilities, effective June 1, 2025 for a period of five\nyears, with two one-year and six month-to-month extension options, for a\nmaximum total contract term of seven years and six months, at an estimated\nfirst-year amount of $8,800,000 and an aggregate amount of approximately\n$47,000,000 for the initial five-year term; and authorize the Director of Internal\nServices to exercise the extension options, in accordance with the contract, add\nor delete facilities, execute applicable contract amendments should the original\ncontracting entity merge, be acquired, or otherwise have a change of entity,\napprove necessary changes to scope of services, and increase the contract\namount up to an additional 10% to allow for any possible Cost of Living\nAdjustments during the option years, in accordance with County policy and the\nterms of the contract.
