34. Respite Care Services Program Sole Source Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Approve and authorize the Director of Mental Health to\nexecute an amendment on a sole source basis to the existing contract with\nMaxim Healthcare Services, Inc. for the continued provision of respite care\nservices, to extend the term for one Fiscal Year (FY) from July 1, 2025 through\nJune 30, 2026, with a Total Contract Amount (TCA) for FY 2025-26 of\n$600,000, funded by State Mental Health Services Act revenue; execute future\namendments to the contract to revise the language, revise and/or replace the\nfee schedule, add, delete, modify, or replace the statement of work, reflect\nFederal, State, and County regulatory and/or policy changes; increase the\nTCA, provided that the increase does not exceed 10% of the TCA, and\nsufficient funds are available; and terminate the contract in accordance with the\ntermination provisions, including termination for convenience, if necessary.\n(Department of Mental Health) APPROVE (25-2298)
