41. Local and Targeted Worker Hiring Program and Community Workforce\nAgreement Monitoring System and Related Services Contract\nRecommendation: Award and authorize the Director of Public Works to execute\na contract with LCPtracker, Inc., for the provision of a specialized Local and\nTargeted Worker Hiring Program and Community Workforce Agreement\nmonitoring system and related services for a contract amount not to exceed\n$1,290,913.20 for the entire five-year term, with five one-year extension\noptions, for a total possible contract term of 10 years, where the not-to-exceed\ncontract amount includes $116,741 annual subscription fees for up to 10 years,\n$6,500 for training, and $117,000 in Pool Dollars for additional related services\nor optional work, subject to the additional extension provisions specified; find\nthat the proposed work is not a project pursuant to the California Environmental\nQuality Act; and authorize the Director to take the following actions:\n(Department of Public Works) APPROVE (NOTE: The Chief Information\nOfficer recommends approval of this item.)\nAuthorize additional services and extend the contract expiration date as\nnecessary to complete those services when those additional services are\npreviously unforeseen, related to a previously assigned scope of work on\na given project, and are necessary for the completion of that given\nproject;\nUse the designated Pool Dollars of $117,000, as needed, for additional\nrelated services or optional work;\nAdminister the contract and, at the discretion of the Director, exercise\nthe extension options based upon project demands and the level of\nsatisfaction with the services provided with no change to the initial\nnot-to-exceed program amount, and suspend/terminate the contract for\nconvenience, if necessary and appropriate to do so; and\nExtend the current contract for the continued provision of Module 2,\nBusiness Utilization Tracking software, for up to two years for $20,790,\nso the County may continue to use this functionality until the new Module\n2 software is successfully implemented through the new contract.\n(25-2288)
