Graffiti Removal Services and Flood Control Facilities Sole Source\nContract Amendments\nRecommendation: Approve sole source contract amendments with Graffiti\nControl Systems, for the East Area Flood Control Facilities and West Area\nFlood Control Facilities, and with Urban Graffiti Enterprises, Inc., for the South\nArea Flood Control Facilities for graffiti removal services, to extend the term of\nfive Proposition A service contracts on a month-to-month basis for up to 12\nmonths, with an annual amount of $146,088 for East Area Flood Control\nFacilities, $254,004 for West Area Flood Control Facilities, $253,473 for South\nArea Flood Control Facilities, $134,503 for Supervisorial District 5 North, and\n$95,054 for Supervisorial District 5 South, while the Department of Public\nWorks completes the solicitation process for replacement contracts; authorize\nthe Director of Public Works to execute the respective sole source amendments\nupon proper execution by the contractors; and find that the contract work is\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.
