29. Delinquent Account Collection Services Contract Amendment\nRecommendation: Award and instruct the Chair to sign a contract with BC\nServices, Inc. (BCS) for the provision of Delinquent Account Collection\nServices to the Department of the Treasurer and Tax Collector, commencing\nupon Board approval, for a three-year term, with three one-year and six\nmonth-to-month extension options, with a commission rate of 12.5% on gross\ncollections; authorize the Treasurer and Tax Collector to execute change\nnotices or amendments to the contract to exercise the extension options, add,\ndelete and/or revise certain terms and conditions as mandated by Federal,\nState, or local law or regulation, or as required by the Board, approve\nassignment or transfer of the contract or of BCS’ rights or obligations\nthereunder, and make changes to the statement of work as operationally\nnecessary, and execute applicable contract amendments in the event an entity\nacquires the original contracting entity, the original contracting entity merges,\nor otherwise undergoes a corporate action.
