C. Ratify a Contract for Emergency Structure Demolition at 8420 Atlantic Avenue with Integrated\nDemolition and Remediation, Inc. (page 93)\nPresented by the Public Works Director\nRecommendation: The City Council is requested to:\n1. Ratify the City Manager’s declaration of an emergency to the\ndemolition structure located at 8420 Atlantic Avenue, in accordance\nwith the City’s Emergency Municipal Code section 2.44.060; and\n2. Ratify the approval and execution of a contract with Integrated\nDemolition and Remediation, Inc., for the demolition of the structure,\nincluding minimal and/or non-substantive changes in the amount of\n$260,825.00.
