DESIGNATION OF APPLICANT’S AGENT RESOLUTION FOR THE\nAUTHORIZATION TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF\nEMERGENCY SERVICES\nPer the Office of the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services\n(Cal OES) grant funding authorities, a Designation of Applicant’s Agent\nResolution must be approved by the governing body in order to apply for\nfederal and state funding. This includes approving authorized\nrepresentatives to engage with Federal Emergency Management Agency\n(FEMA) and the Cal OES.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council adopt the\nDesignation of Applicant’s Agent Resolution for Non-State Agencies and\ndesignate as the Governing Board Representatives: City Manager Rene\nSalas, Senior Executive Assistant to City Council/Community Liaison\nDianna Gomez and Administrative Coordinator Eric Diaz.
