Ordinance Amending El Segundo Municipal Code Title 15, Chapter 32\n(Development Impact Fees) to Establish a Fee Deferral Program to Adjust\nthe Deadline of Development Impact Fee Payments to Prior to Issuance of\na Certificate of Occupancy or Final Inspection, and Associated Resolution\nRecommendation -\n1. Open and conduct a public hearing to solicit public testimony.\n2. Introduce and waive the first reading of an ordinance amending El\nSegundo Municipal Code Title 15, Chapter 32 (Development Impact\nFees) regarding the timing of when Development Impact Fees are paid\nand finding that the ordinance is exempt from the requirements of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Guidelines section\n15061(b)(3).\n3. Adopt a resolution establishing a fee deferral program to adjust the\ndeadline of certain building permit fee payments to prior to issuance of a\ncertificate of occupancy or final inspection.\n4. Schedule the ordinance's second reading for the May 20, 2025 regular\nCity Council meeting or as soon thereafter it may be heard.\n5. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
