Ordinance Amending El Segundo Municipal Code Title 15, Chapter 4\n(Residential Zones) to Amend the Development Standards for the Single-\nFamily Residential (R-1) Zone, Including the Standards Applicable to Two-\nUnit Residential Developments and Urban Lot Splits Pursuant to Senate\nBill No. 450\nRecommendation -\n1. Open and conduct a public hearing to solicit public testimony.\n2. Introduce and waive the first reading of an ordinance amending El\nSegundo Municipal Code Title 15 to amend the development standards\nfor the Single-Family Residential (R-1) Zone, including standards\napplicable to two-unit residential developments and urban lot splits, and\nfinding that the ordinance is exempt from the requirements of the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Guidelines section\n15061(b)(3).\n3. Schedule the ordinance's second reading for the May 20, 2025 regular\nCity Council meeting or as soon thereafter may be heard.\n4. Alternatively, discuss and take other action related to this item.
