AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND THE AGREEMENT WITH LIEBERT CASSIDY WHITMORE TO\nINCREASE COMPENSATION FOR SPECIAL LEGAL SERVICES (FUNDING SOURCE:\nGENERAL FUND)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to execute an amendment to the existing\nagreement with Liebert Cassidy Whitmore for special legal services\npertaining to employment relations matters, increasing compensation by\n$75,000 for a not-to-exceed amount of $125,000; and\nB. Appropriate $90,000 from the unassigned General Fund balance to fully\nfund the agreement.
