3-G. URBAN AREAS SEARCH INITIATIVE – AWARD OF CONTRACT TO MICHAEL T. LITTLE,\nOF COUNTERRISK, INC., FOR THE REGIONAL TRAINING GROUP (RTG) INTELLIGENCE\nCHIEF POSITION\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a one-year agreement, with the potential to\nextend for an additional two years, with Michael T. Little of CounterRisk, Inc. in a form\napproved by the City Attorney, to provide and coordinate effective intelligence-sharing\nbetween Los Angeles area fire service agencies and intelligence, counterterrorism, and\nhomeland security stakeholders for an amount not to exceed $690,000; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
