5-B. APPROVE THE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR REFUSE RATE ADJUSTMENTS AND\nSET A PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON JULY 16, 2025\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Receiving and filing the Solid Waste Franchise Fee Study;\n(2) Approving the proposed refuse rates for customer consideration;\n(3) Directing the City Manager, or designee, to implement the Proposition 218 protest ballot\nprocess (pursuant to Resolution No. 11647) for proposed rate setting;\n(4) Setting a Public Hearing to consider rate increases; and\n(5) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
