A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF MONTEREY PARK DECLARING MAY 6 AS\nNATIONAL DAY OF THE TEACHER AND MAY 5 THOUGH MAY 9 AS TEACHER\nAPPRECIATION WEEK (AS REQUESTED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SANCHEZ)\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Adopting a Resolution declaring May 6 as National Day of the Teacher and May 5 though\nMay 9 as Teacher Appreciation Week; and\n(2) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
