CONSIDERATION OF AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 5.62 TO THE BUENA PARK\nMUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING LICENSING AND DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR\nCONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS PERFORMING WORK ON LARGE PROJECTS\nThe City Council will consider adopting an ordinance requiring license contractors and\nsubcontractors performing work on specified construction projects to make certain\ndisclosures as a condition to issuance of a construction permit from the City, including a\nlist of any subcontractors that will be working under the permit and past violations by\nthe contractor of labor code requirements.\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt an ordinance adding Chapter 5.62 (Licensing and\nDisclosure Requirements for Contractors) to Title 5 (Business License and\nRegulations) to the Buena Park Municipal Code and establishing licensing and\ndisclosure requirements for contractors and subcontractors performing work on\nspecified projects.
