20.b APPROVAL OF NEW 2025 SPECIAL EVENT, “MARBLES IN THE JAR” FILM\nPREMIERE - 25-CR-039\nCEQA: Approval of the new 2025 special event would be exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) under State CEQA Guidelines section 15304(e).\nThe event is a minor temporary use of land in the form of a pre-event reception for a\nfilm screening. This type of temporary event will have negligible or no permanent\neffect on the environment.\n(Special Events and Filming Coordinator Austin DeWeese)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends City Council hold a public hearing to consider approval of the\nParks, Recreation, and Community Resources Advisory Commission’s\n(Commission) recommendation to include Impact Level ll new special event,\n“Marbles in the Jar” film premiere at the Community Theatre and courtyard on\nFriday, June 6, 2025, and to add the event to the 2025 Special Event Calendar.
