Copy) (Rev. 5/9/25)\nResolution authorizing the Mayor or designee to execute the revised Energy Cooperation\nAgreement with SDG&E.\nCommittee Actions Taken:\nThis item was heard at the Environment Committee meeting on February 13, 2025.\nMotion by Committee Member LaCava, second by Chair Elo-Rivera, to recommend\nstaff's proposed actions with amendments to the following sections; Section 6.b Building\nPerformance Standards – remove references to the White House and generalize\ncommitment to Building Performance Standards; Section 7.a Equity-Focused Solar\nExpansion – increase the commitment of SDGE shareholder funds to the Equity-Focused\nSolar Expansion from $1 million annually to $1,150,000 annually, to account for inflation\nbetween June 2021 and December 2024, as measured by the U.S. Bureau of Labor\nStatistics; Section 11.c Rate Transparency – to read: “Once a year, an SDG&E executive\nshall offer to present to the City Council on current and forecasted average electric rates\nfor all customer classes and the associated impact to unbundled residential electric bills.\nThe presentation shall also include actions taken and plans to limit costs for customers.”;\nand Section 11.d Ensuring Transparency – strike ‘on one day.’\nVOTE: 2-0; Elo-Rivera-yea, LaCava-yea, Campbell-not present\nSustainability and Mobility: Megan Ong, (619) 236-7077\nCity Attorney Contact: William Smith
