12.11 Consideration and Approval of Purchase Orders with 12 Selected Uniforms and Safety\nEquipment Vendors for Uniforms, Safety Equipment, Body Armor, and Supplies for\nthe Police Department on an As-Needed Basis.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BU SINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Consider and approve the selection of 12 vendors: US Armor, Keystone Uniforms,\nPristine Uniforms, Mr. Uniform, Sinatra’s Uniform, Galls, All State Police Equipment, LA\nPolice Gear, Curtis Blue Line, Crye Uniforms, V&V Manufacturing, and 5.11, to serve on\nthe El Monte Police Department’s Bench List of suppliers for uniforms, safety equipment,\nbody armor, and supplies;\n2. Consider and approve Purchase Orders with the 12 selected uniform and safety\nequipment vendors for uniforms, body armor, safety equipment and supplies for the\nPolice Department on an as-needed basis for an additional $50,000 approved by the City\nCouncil during the adoption of the mid-year budget adjustments on March 26, 2025, Item\nNo. 14.4; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager, and/or the Chief of Police, to administratively manage the\nPurchase Agreements and/or the approved Purchase Order funds for the approved\nvendors, as needed, through the City’s internal Change Order process.\nTotal Cost: $50,000 Account No: 100-71-711-6248\nIs the cost of this item budgeted?
