29. AWARD AGREEMENT NO. 4280 TO PALADIN TECHNOLOGIES FOR THE PURCHASE AND\nINSTALLATION OF A SECURITY AND SURVEILLANCE CAMERA SYSTEM FOR THE TRANSPORTATION\nDEPARTMENT\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Award Agreement No. 4280 with Paladin Technologies (Paladin), for a one-year (1-year) term, to\npurchase and install a security and surveillance camera system for the Transportation Department, for a\ntotal not-to-exceed amount of $545,850; and\n2. Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 adopted operating budget to increase appropriations by $136,472 in\nAccount No. 600-90-915-6040.95 (Transit, Administration, Corporate Shop, Contract Services - Other\nProfessional Services); and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to approve change orders up to an additional ten percent (10%) or $54,585\nof the total agreement amount; and\n4. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
