B.15. AMENDMENT NO. 8 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH\nCHATTEL, INC. FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION CONSULTANT\nSERVICES [J. ALKIRE, D. VU]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of an amendment to\nthe agreement for professional services with Chattel, Inc. to provide\nsubject matter expertise in analyzing preservation-related projects and\nstaff and commission training pertaining to Historic Preservation,\nextending the agreement’s termination date and increasing the not-to-\nexceed amount.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve amendment No. 8 to the Agreement\nfor services with Chattel, Inc. to increase the amount of the agreement by\n$20,000 for a total “not-to-exceed” amount of $270,000, with a contract\nend date of June 30, 2026; and 2) Authorize the City Manager or designee\nto execute documents incident to the amendment.
