F.3. STORYCORPS ORAL HISTORY PROJECT TO PRESERVE WEST\nHOLLYWOOD STORIES IN CELEBRATION OF 40 YEARS OF\nCITYHOOD [J. SCHARE, S. LUNN]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving an Agreement for\nServices with StoryCorps Studios, a division of StoryCorps, Inc., to\ncomplete an oral history project in November 2025 that will record,\npreserve, and share stories of the West Hollywood community in\ncelebration of West Hollywood’s 40 years of Cityhood.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Approve an Agreement for Services with\nStoryCorps Studios, a division of StoryCorps, Inc., in an amount not to\nexceed $200,000; 2) Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute\ndocuments incident to the agreement; and 3) Authorize the Director of\nFinance & Technology Services to allocate $200,000 from unallocated\nreserves in the General Fund to fund the agreement.
