FC-2024-08; NOTICE INVITING BIDS 25-042AS\nThat the City Council:\na. Adopt the Plans and Specifications for the Sheridan Park Playground Replacement Project,\nProject No. CIP FC-2024-08, Notice Inviting Bids 25-042AS.\nb. Award Notice Inviting Bids 25-042AS to Micon Construction, Inc., the lowest responsive,\nresponsible bidder, for the total bid amount of $382,051, and waive all minor irregularities in\nthe bidding document as submitted by the said bidder.\nc. Approve the Construction Contract with Micon Construction, Inc. for the Community &\nInfrastructure Phase II - Sheridan Park Playground Capital Improvement Project No. FC-\nPage 3 of 7\n2024-08, in the amount of $382,051.\nd. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Construction Contract with Micon\nConstruction, Inc., in the amount of $382,051, including any non-substantive extensions,\nchange orders, purchase orders, and amendments up to the amount authorized by Corona\nMunicipal Code Section 3.08.050(H), which is equivalent to 10% or $38,205.\ne. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to issue a purchase order to Micon\nConstruction, Inc. in the amount of $382,051.\nf. Authorize an appropriation in the amount of $85,000 from the Parks and Open Space Fund\n217 to the Community Facilities & Infrastructure Phase II - Sheridan Park Playground Capital\nImprovement Project No. FC-2024-08.
