APPROVAL OF A PURCHASE ORDER TO WINNER CHEVROLET FOR A\nTOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $130,187.43 FOR THE PURCHASE\nOF TWO (2) POLICE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISOR VEHICLES; AND\nAUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE PURCHASE ORDERS TO\nVARIOUS VENDORS FOR THE NECESSARY HARDWARE, SOFTWARE,\nAND RELATED I.T. EQUIPMENT IN THE NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF\n$60,000.\nComment: Staff recommends City Council waive the bidding requirements as the\nCity is utilizing the California State Procurement Contract and approve a purchase\norder in the amount of $130,187.43 to Winner Chevrolet for the purchase of\nspecified Police Department replacement vehicles and authorize the City Manager\nto approve purchase orders to various vendors for the necessary hardware,\nsoftware, and related equipment in the not-to-exceed amount of $60,000.
