6.1 Adoption of Solid Waste Collection and Recycling Rate Adjustments for\nResidential and Commercial Collection Services\nRecommendation: That the City Council:\n1. Receive staff presentation and report, and receive City Clerk report on\nwritten property owner protests;\n2. Ask questions of staff;\n3. Open the public hearing;\n4. Receive public testimony;\n5. Close the public hearing; and\n6. If less than 6,634 written protests were received by the City, by motion,\napprove the rate adjustments in the approved Contract for the Collection,\nTransportation and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and for the Collection\nand Transportation of Recyclable Materials to Processors for Diversion\nbetween the City of Laguna Hills and CR&R Incorporated.
