CITY COUNCIL INITIATED ITEM — DISCUSSION REGARDING CONSIDERATION OF\nA JOINT RECOGNITION EFFORT RELATING TO THE STANTON DEPOT\nAt the May 27, 2025, City Council meeting, Council Member Warren requested that this\nitem be agendized for discussion. Council Member Warren is requesting to discuss\nconsideration of a joint recognition effort, in partnership with the City of Buena Park in\nrecognizing the “Stanton Depot” that is currently located within Knott’s Berry Farm as a\nhistorical marker, recognizing the history of both the City of Stanton and the Union Pacific\nRailroad.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council provide direction to staff.
