9M.\nSELECTION OF FIREWORKS LICENSEES FOR 2025\nStaff is requesting that the City Council select a licensee for 2025 fireworks sales.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that the action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”) under Section 15061(b)(3) of the State CEQA Guidelines as the activity\nis covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the\npotential for causing significant effect on the environment. Where is can be seen with\ncertainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant\neffect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA; and\n2. Award a fireworks sales license to Boys & Girls Club of Stanton.
