G. AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY (SGVHS)\nFOR ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL SERVICES FOR FY 2025-2026 IN THE\nAMOUNT OF $590,500\nThe San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) had provided animal care and\ncontrol services to the community for many decades. The City’s most recent\nagreement with SGVHS was approved by the City Council on June 4, 2024. The\nSGVHS is requesting to continue services for the City for Fiscal Year (FY) 20252026. The cost to the City for SGVHS to provide a full-service animal care and\ncontrol program for FY 2025-2026 is $590,500 and is included in the adopted\nFY 2025-2026 budget.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\n5\nStaff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute\nthe agreement with the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society for Fiscal Year 20252026 in the amount of $590,500.
