Item 332:\nAdoption of Resolution of Necessity to Commence Eminent Domain Process to\nAcquire a Permanent Easement and Temporary Construction Area Easement for the\nMurphy Canyon Trunk Sewer Repair/Rehab Project, CIP Project B-17005.\nThis item will be considered in the afternoon session which is scheduled to begin at\n2:00 p.m.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nEstimated acquisition cost is $650,000, final amount will be determined either by\ncontinued negotiations with property owner (with consultation with City’s appraisal\nexpert) and/or by order of the court. Funds are available within the existing CIP budget\nand will be funded by the Municipal Sewer Fund. Allocated Project funding shall be used\nfor the acquisition of property interests the City seeks to acquire and related expenses.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: 6, 7, 9.\nProposed Actions:\nSubitem-A: (R-2025-587)\nResolution determining that acquisition of private property interests needed for the\nMurphy Canyon Trunk Sewer project is exempt from CEQA and no exceptions to the\nexemptions applies.\nSubitem-A: This item is not subject to the Mayor's veto.
