12.\nRESOLUTION DECLARING PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF SANTA\nCLARITA EXEMPT FROM THE SURPLUS LAND ACT AND APPROVAL OF A\nPROPERTY TRANSFER IN FEE TO SANTA CLARITA VALLEY WATER\nAGENCY - This item considers adopting a resolution declaring a portion of City-owned\nproperty exempt from the Surplus Land Act and the approval of a property transfer in fee\nto Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency for the purpose of constructing a PFAS water\ntreatment facility.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Adopt a resolution declaring a portion of the Assessor’s Parcel Number 2811-065912 as exempt surplus land under the Surplus Land Act.\n2. Approve the transfer in fee of a portion, 23,362 +/- square feet, of Assessor's Parcel\nNumber 2811-065-912 to Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency in the amount of\n$12,500.\n3. Increase revenue account 100-462106 by $12,500 for Fiscal Year 2025-26.\n4. Approve a grant of easement to the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency for pipeline\nimprovements and maintenance.\n5. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all necessary documentation to\ncomplete the property transfer, subject to City Attorney approval.
