NB2. Award of Bid and Task Orders for Multi-Year Professional Services (Service Group Category\n16 - Labor Compliance & Service Group Category 09 –Materials and Laboratory Testing\nServices) – Public Works Construction Project No. 24-005 – 2024 Pavement Management\nProgram - Road Rehabilitation\nRecommendation(s):\n1. Award Public Works Construction Project (PWCP) 24-005, 2024 Pavement Management\nProgram (PMP) Road Rehabilitation, to R.C. Becker Inc., of Santa Clarita, California, Base\nBid Items in the amount of $2,001,216.30, plus a 20% contingency, to repair and resurface\n5.5 lane miles of road at two locations within the City of Lancaster; and authorize the City\nManager, or his designee, to sign all documents in accordance with California Public\nContract Code Section 22038(b).\n2. Find the City has complied with the California Environmental Quality Act. A Notice of\nExemption was filed on June 4, 2024.\n3. Authorize Task Order expenditure amount of $20,012.16, plus a 5% contingency, for Labor\nCompliance services award to the successful firm in Multi-Year Professional Services\nAgreement, Service Group Category (SGC) 16 - Labor Compliance.\n4. Authorize Task Order expenditure amount of $25,485.00, plus a 5% contingency, for\nMaterials and Laboratory Testing services award to the successful firm in Multi-Year\nProfessional Services Agreement, Service Group Category (SGC) 09 – Materials and\nLaboratory Testing.\nThe proposed project is funded by the Gas Tax – SB-1, Proposition C, and the Lancaster\nFinancing Authority. This project will include roadway repair and rehabilitation at\nvarious locations.
