13.e\nAPPROVAL OF A FIVE-YEAR FIRE SERVICES COOPERATIVE\nAGREEMENT WITH THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT TO\nPROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION, FIRE PREVENTION, RESCUE, AND\nEMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve the proposed Five-Year Cooperative Agreement with the\nRiverside County Fire Department, effective July 1, 2025, through\nJune 30, 2030, for the continued provision of fire protection,\nrescue, In-house fire marshal, hazardous materials mitigation, and\nemergency medical services within the City of Palm Desert.\n85\n2.\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute the Cooperative Agreement\nand any future amendments that do not result in material changes\nto service levels or exceed adopted budget appropriations.\n3
