26.\nAQUATIC CENTER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (PHASE 1B) – APPROVAL OF\nPREQUALIFIED BIDDERS LIST AND AUTHORIZATION TO ADVERTISE FOR\nCONSTRUCTION BIDS (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve the Prequalified Bidders List for Phase 1B; and\n2) Approve the Plans and Specifications for Phase 1B; and\n3) Authorize the City Engineer to solicit construction bids for Phase 1B from the\nPrequalified Bidders List; and\n4) Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Exemption for the subject project with\nthe Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder; and\n5) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
