9K.\nAUTHORITY TO ADVERTISE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE FISCAL YEAR (FY)\n2025/26 CITYWIDE SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT\nThe plans and specifications for the FY 2025/26 Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project are\ncomplete. The City Engineer is recommending City Council approve the specifications\nand plans for bidding, subject to revision by the City Engineer and the City Attorney, to\nensure the construction contract is awarded in an efficient and timely manner. The Project\nplans and specifications are available in the City Engineer’s Office for review.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\n1. City Council find that this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (“CEQA”), Class 1, and 15301(c) as repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of\nexisting streets, sidewalks, gutters, and similar facilities; and\n2. Approve the bid specifications and plans, subject to revisions required by the City\nEngineer and the City Attorney; and\n3. Authorize and advertise for bids the FY 2025/26 Citywide Sidewalk Repair Project.
