8.3\nCAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2025-02, NEIGHBORHOOD SLURRY SEAL\nAREA 6 – REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT - It is recommended the City\nCouncil award the contract for Capital Improvement Project No. 2025-02, Neighborhood\nSlurry Seal Area 6, to American Asphalt South, Inc. in the amount of $742,073; authorize\nthe City Manager to execute the contract on behalf of the City; authorize the City Manager\nto approve addendums to the existing on-call engineering contracts for construction\ninspection and testing services in an amount not to exceed 20 percent of the construction\ncost; and authorize the City Manager to approve additional work up to 20 percent of the\ntotal construction cost.\n8.3 CIP NO. 2025-02
