D.\nProposition 218 Protest Public Hearing – Water Rate and Sewer Rate\nAdjustments - 1. That the City Council conduct a public hearing to accept\ncomments on the proposed water and sewer rate adjustments; and, 2. Upon\nthe conclusion of the public hearing, that the City Council adopt Resolution\n7668 responding to timely filed written objections to the proposed water and\nsewer rates pursuant to the requirements of Assembly Bill 2257; and, 3. Upon\nthe conclusion of the public hearing, provided a majority protest against the\nproposed water rates does not exist, that City Council adopt Resolution 7669\nestablishing the water rates, effective August 1, 2025; and, 4. Upon the\nconclusion of the public hearing, provided a majority protest against the\nproposed sewer rates does not exist, that City Council adopt Resolution 7670\nestablishing the sewer rates, effective August 1, 2025; and, 5. Receive and file\nthe Water and Wastewater Financial Plan and Rate Study, prepared by\nRaftelis Financial Consultants, Inc., dated June 17, 2025, as presented to the\nCity Council at this meeting and on file in the office of the City Clerk.\nUNFINISHED / CONTINUED BUSINESS - None\nNEW BUSINESS – None
