LEGISLATIVE POLICY COMMITTEE: SUPPORT FOR SB 627 (WIENER, ARREGUÍN, AND PÉREZ): LAW ENFORCEMENT: MASKS (Office of\nthe City Manager)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the action proposed in the agenda report is covered by the “Common Sense” exemption set forth in State CEQA Guidelines Section\n15061(b)(3) as CEQA only applies to projects that may have a significant effect on\nthe environment;\n(2)\nSupport Senate Bill 627 (Wiener, Arreguín, and Pérez) – Law Enforcement: Masks, and any subsequent related legislation; and\n(3)\nAuthorize the Mayor to send letters to the appropriate authorities stating Pasadena’s position.
